In this class we will combine the Japanese art of origami with wet felting techniques. Learn how to lay out and shape the wool so it retains beautiful angular shapes once felted.
If you prefer, you can make a cowl instead, we will discuss how to plan out your design so it folds up evenly.
This class is for adults and suitable for intermediate feltmakers and confident beginners (you should be able to lay out wool fibres evenly.

Please bring with you:
- two towels (a tea towel or hand towel size), and a medium size towel (approx 1 metre long)
- sharp scissors, suitable for cutting fabric
- a cutting mat and rotary cutter if you have them
- a nail brush or pet slicker brush or a clean wire brush
- a plastic bag to take your damp felt and towels home in
- pencil and a ruler (a metal ruler is ideal if you have one)
- a waterproof apron if you have one (optional)
- your lunch and/or snacks (tea and coffee will be provided)
- sewing needle and thread to match your wool colours
